Supporting Transition-Age Youth with Foster Care Histories: From Evidence to Action
Held in The Nitttany Lion Inn, 200 W. Park Avenue on Penn State's campus, this 1-day conference will focus on improving outcomes for transition-age youth with histories of child welfare involvement and will feature nationally renowned presenters.
Event check-in will be from 8:00-8:30 AM and will include a breakfast buffet which will be available through 10:00 AM. The event will run through 4:30 PM.
Breakfast, lunch and refreshments will be provided with registration.
While there is a nominal registration fee, we are providing a tiered registration fee and encourage welfare workers who need financial assistance to request event support.
Students are invited to attend free, thanks to the generous support of the Human Development & Family Studies Vladimir de Lissovy Program Support Endowment.
A virtual attendance option is available for those who are unable to attend the conference in-person.

Continuing Education (CE): Penn State is an approved provider as defined by Pa. Code Sections 47.36(a)(3), 48.36(a)(3), and 49.36(a)(3). Social workers, marriage and family therapists, and professional counselors licensed by the state of Pennsylvania can earn 6.5 clock hours of continuing education for completing this conference.
