Fostering Lions program connects foster youth with opportunity at Penn State

With the passing of the Fostering Independence Through Education Act recently signed by Governor Wolf - foster youth who qualify for CHAFEE funding will now receive a tuition waiver to attend school and will also have a point of contact to assist them!

Penn State started the Fostering Lions Program last fall - beginning FA 2020 we hope to see an increase in students taking advantage of this great opportunity/resource that is available to them.
