Stand Up, Step Forward to Keep Children Safe
Summary:

As a part of National Child Abuse Prevention Month, The Children's Advocacy Center of Centre County (Mount Nittany Health) and the Child Maltreatment Solutions Network are presenting "Stand Up, Step Forward to Keep Children Safe: Why Child Abuse Reporting Matters."

The event will be an important community discussion on what it means to be a reporter of child abuse. Join keynote speaker Teresa Huizar, Executive Director of the National Children's Alliance, and a panel of experts and advocates to discuss mandated reporting, the creation of multidisciplinary investigative teams, and efforts by community agencies to keep our children safe.

The event is free and open to the public. There will be a reception preceding the event at 6:30 p.m.
